This database was created in order to support research work of scientists with regard to shaken bioreactors. The database will be continuously updated and expanded by a scientist with experience in the field of fermentation and molecular biology.

The following guidelines should support an efficient search of the database:

Umlaute like “ä,ü,ö” should be changed to “ae,ue,oe”

The category “keywords” was extended in comparison to the original paper including information about

• the methods applied (e.g. sulfite oxidation method)
• the strains used (e.g. “Escherichia coli”)
• the type of bioreactor(e.g. “shaken flask” or “microtiter plate”)
• the kind of cultivation (e.g. plant cell culture, animal cell culture, microorganisms)

The keywords were also translated into German.

To obtain all publications of a certain year that are included in the database, the date must be entered to the category “journal” in the extended search mode.
